About

I'm a Staff Researcher at Samsung Research America in Mountain View and a founding member of its Digital Health Biosensors team, working at the intersection of health and AI: sensing systems, hardware–software integration, and scalable digital health solutions.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, advised by Dr. Shwetak Patel. My thesis, Extending the Senses of Ubiquitous Devices, focused on novel sensing and machine learning for healthcare and HCI applications. During my Ph.D. I designed and built full-stack, real-time hardware and software systems, and worked at Meta Reality Labs, Microsoft Research, and Google.

I completed my Master's in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Dr. Gregory Abowd, where my research involved sensing for XR input. I also interned at Amazon during that time.

I earned my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, then worked as a software developer at Cisco and Flipkart before starting grad school.
